Alex Greenfield

Alex is a Data-Scientist-in-Residence at Digitalis Ventures.

Previously, Alex was a Senior Director at Valo Health, where he was an early member of the data science team working to build efficient computational solutions for key bottlenecks in drug discovery and development. He has held a number of machine learning and computational biology roles in startups and big pharma working on an array of problems ranging from target id to biomarker development and clinical trial optimization.

He received his Ph.D. from NYU School of Medicine where he worked on inference of biological regulatory networks from time-series data. He received his B.A. in Mathematics and Biomathematics from Rutgers University
