Jacob Oppenheim

Entrepreneur-in-Residence

Jacob is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Digitalis Ventures.

Previously, Jacob was VP of Data Science and Engineering at EQRx, working to bring about more affordable novel medicines through efficient drug development and manufacturing with modern digital tools and processes.  He has held a variety of data science and machine learning leadership roles throughout the biopharma sector including in genomics, value-based healthcare, microbials, and agriculture.  Jacob also serves as Board VP and was a founding board member of Abundant Housing Massachusetts.

He holds a PhD in Biological Physics from Rockefeller University, where he worked on problems in computational neuroscience, soft-matter physics, and demography, and an AB in Physics from Princeton University.
